WELBAR PROJECT     Promise

The 500 hectare Promise Property, comprised of 10 claims, is located west and immediately adjacent to the Island Mountain Mine. Merit Mining holds a 100% interest in the Promise 1 - 8 claims and the Coulter 4 and 7 claims.

Merit Mining conducted limited exploration programs of geochemical surveys in 1998 and prospecting and stream sediment surveys in 2000. In 2001 the Company conducted a biogeochemical (bark) sampling program.
